The history of Galeos Miso Dressings began in 1996, when Chefs Andrei Leontieff and Gordana Smardzic opened Galeos Cafe in Newport Beach, California, a European style cafe specializing in homemade international cuisine. Schooled in the European tradition, where an appreciation for the artistry of cooking is instilled at an early age, Chefs Andrei and Gordana began to add their own personal touch to old favorites. In 1997, they co-created a miso salad dressing, which they added to the menu at Galeos Cafe. These innovative and unbelievably delicious dressings, homemade from pure and simple all natural ingredients, soon had customers clamoring for take-home portions to go. Later that same year, Chefs Andrei and Gordana launched Galeos Miso Dressings, and, along with the accolades, the orders came pouring in. Galeos Miso Dressings have also been endorsed by Weight Watchers and are the dressings of choice for one of America's hottest new reality shows, The Biggest Losers.
